What is the Triangle Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

A four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction and motivational training. You will be
inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure
Fitness Trainer, Jennifer Shevach.  The Cary ladies are led by the experienced and
energetic  Sandra Holland.

When and where do we meet?

Triangle Adventure Boot Camp in meets Monday through Friday mornings from 5:30-6:30am
at Trinity Academy in North Raleigh.  Trinity Academy is located at
10224 Baileywick Rd, just
west of Creedmoor Rd.  Camp sessions in Cary run at the same time, and classes are
located at the Premier School of Dance, 305-H Ashville Ave, Cary.

A camp session typically runs for four (4) weeks, followed by a one-week off period.  See our

What kinds of people go to camp?

They are people just like you. They range in age from 18 – 60+. Some have never exercised,
some are competitive runners. Some have over 100 pounds to lose, some need to gain
weight. Some have had surgeries, injuries or recent multiple births. Some have husbands
over seas, some have eating disorders, some have handicap children waiting for them at
home. They are a group of women who want something better for themselves. They want
results, they want to feel great, they want to reclaim their energy, feel attractive and be the
very best they can be. These women are looking to jump start their fitness and get fast
results. They are determined and committed and many admit they were scared to sign up
and get started, but were thrilled they did.

What is a typical day like at camp?

Each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. Workouts incorporate some intense
walking / light running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training and jumping rope
each week. Modifications to the exercises will be made based on any special conditions you
may have.  It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach you a great deal
about proper form and "core stability."

What can I achieve from camp?
Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a
dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises
designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase
stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose inches and gain strength while
looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of
striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You will gain valuable incite
regarding how to make exercise, healthful eating and well being a permanent and enjoyable
part of your life.

What if I'm not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of safely
doing. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are
welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be
inspired by others.
